Vision...
The vision being put into action through this foundation began 50 years ago with Mary Love Cornell. An evangelist and minister from the 1940's, Mary was a rarity as a woman pastor and evangelist in those days. It was her love, concern and reaching out to people in need that won the hearts of the thousands she encountered during her 50+ years of ministry. She raised 3 children who also have all worked in the ministry all their lives. Her grandchildren carry on her heart for showing God's love to a lost world, and her grand-daughter, Christina Forrester, and Christina’s best friend and adopted sister Jessica Forrester are the founders of this foundation which will have many branches including a homeless shelter, food box outreach, rehab clinic and more as part of the church Mary founded in Apache Junction, AZ. Other branches of this foundation are a nationwide volunteer organization called The Defenders, which is being formed to mobilize people of faith around the country to volunteer to help those who cannot help themselves - defending the cause of the needy, down-and-out, fatherless, widow and showing compassion in many forms.
